About Netflix
Netflix, Inc., commonly just Netflix, is an American corporation that offers both on-demand video streaming over the internet, and flat rate DVD and Blu-ray Disc rental-by-mail in the United States and Canada . The company was established in 1997 and is headquartered in Los Gatos, California. It started its subscription service in 1999. In 2009 it was offering a collection of 100,000 titles on DVD and surpassing 10 million subscribers. On February 25, 2007, Netflix announced the billionth DVD delivery.
Netflix App's
Netflix spends a lot of time experimenting with different setups — both on the front end and the back end — to make the experience better. The key to this kind of iterative testing is the ability to frequently roll out updates or roll back changes.
The technology you use is delivered from Netflix servers every time you launch their application. This means they can constantly update, test and improve the experience they offer.
Combined with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, Netflix has the ability to build robust, responsive and powerful applications. The fact that these applications can then be used on a myriad of devices really opens up the possibilities — especially as embedded platforms and connected devices become more powerful.
